At the Chairman’s Table

More than 75 people attended “At the Chairman’s Table,” a dinner that benefited the expansion of the Ocean County Library’s Brick branch expansion, Friday Sept. 26.

The dinner featured some of Frank Sinatra’s favorite recipes from his favorite restaurant, Patsy’s Italian Restaurant in New York City.  Patsy’s executive chef Sal Scognamillo, whose grandfather opened the restaurant in 1944, shared intimate anecdotes about Sinatra.

Singer Sal Manzo entertained the diners with songs made famous by “The Chairman of the Board.”

The dinner was prepared by Chef Ian Smith and students from the Ocean County Vocational Technical School Culinary Arts Program.
