Teen Craft – Mexican Piñata
MANAHAWKIN – On Monday, August 1st, from 6 to 8 p.m., the Stafford Library is holding a piñata-making program. Learn how to make a paper-mache piñata. Decorate your own colorful, candy-filled piñata, and bring it home to keep or break open! Dress appropriately for a messy craft.
Teen Advisory Board Meeting
MANAHAWKIN – On Thursday, August 4th, the Teen Advisory Board of the Stafford branch is holding its monthly meeting at 6 pm. We will discuss upcoming programs, practice leadership skills, enjoy snacks and have a great time!
The Teen Advisory Board is free and open to teens ages 12-18. No registration is necessary, although an application must be submitted if you decide to join.
Teen Digital Footprint
MANAHAWKIN – On Tuesday, August 2nd, come to the library from 1 to 2:30 pm to learn about your digital footprint – the record of yourself that is openly available on the Internet. We will discuss privacy and different social networking sites, and demonstrate how to make your online profiles more secure.

What’s Your Sign? Zodiac Signs for Teens
MANAHAWKIN – On Friday, August 5th, at 2 pm, the teen volunteers at the library will present a program on zodiac signs. Learn the stars that make up your sign, and what their position at the time of your birth might mean about you! We will also be making star-sign posters.
