In the 4th installment of the Mission Impossible series, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team race to track down a dangerous terrorist who has gained access to Russian nuclear launch codes and is planning a strike on the United States. An attempt by the team to stop him ends with an explosion causing severe destruction to the Kremlin and the IMF being implicated in the bombing. The President is forced to invoke Ghost Protocol, under which the IMF is disavowed and offered no help or backup. Ethan and his team chase their suspect to Dubai, and then to Mumbai, but might be too late to stop a disaster.
This PG13-rated movie is part of the library’s Feature Film Series. It is 133 minutes long. Although registration is not required, early arrival is recommended.
