The Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library is doing henna tattoos on Thursday, August 19th, from 3 – 4:30 pm. Mehndi henna is an exotic, non-permanent body art that lasts as long as a few weeks. Parental permission in the form of a signed waiver is required to participate. Henna will stain fabrics, so participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for a potentially messy craft.
This program is free and open to teens in grades 7-12. The Stafford branch is located at 129 N. Main St. in Manahawkin. Please register online at http://www.theoceancountylibrary.org or by phone at 609-597-3381.
