CHESS CLUB TO MEET AT THE MANCHESTER BRANCH LIBRARY
MANCHESTER – Are you a chess-lover who wants to play in a relaxed, uncompetitive atmosphere? If so, then join the Chess Club at the Manchester Branch of the Ocean County Library! You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, meet people who share your love of chess, and teach the game to new players. Players of all levels are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring their own chess boards.
The Chess Club meets every Friday at 12:00 p.m. in the Library’s Young Adult Area. Registration is not required. If you need additional information, please call Wendi at (732) 657-7600, ext. 4113. The Library is located at 21 Colonial Drive in Manchester Township.

MANCHESTER BRANCH LIBRARY TO SHOW
“UNKNOWN”
MANCHESTER – The Manchester Branch Library will screen the film, “Unknown” on Wednesday, September 7, at 2:00 p.m. and again at 6:00 pm. See this popular thriller on a large screen without paying the admission fee of a movie theater!
A man (Liam Neeson) awakens from a coma, only to discover that someone has taken on his identity and that no one, not even his wife (January Jones), believes him. With the help of a young woman (Diane Kruger), he sets out to prove who he is.
This PG13-rated movie is part of the library’s Feature Film Series. It is 113 minutes long. Although registration is not required, early arrival is recommended.

At the age of thirteen, Bethany Hamilton (AnnaSophia Robb) lost her arm to a shark attack. The film details the true events surrounding this attack and her struggle during the aftermath.
