Neil Sedaka, pop singer, songwriter, and poet filled Mancini Hall Sunday November 7, to promote the children’s book “Waking Up is Hard to Do” that he provides the lyrics for.
Sedaka whose career has spanned more than 50 years has written many songs for himself and others rewrote his signature 1962 #1 hit song “Breaking Up is Hard to Do”. The book and CD contains two more songs written and sung by Sedakad “Lightnin’ Jim” and “Sing.”
