OCL takes part in annual Passport to Independence Fair

Toms River Teen Services represented Ocean County Library at the 2nd annual Passport to Independence Fair for transition-age youth on October 26.  The Fair is organized by the Children’s Inter Agency Coordinating Council of the OC Department of Human Services and hosted 26 organizations that help young people who are transitioning from health and behavioral care to independence as adults.  Teen Services was represented by librarians Jeannie Collacott, who is taking the lead on TR’s programs for young people ages 18-24; Katie Fernandez, who designed the display; and Julie Tozer.
