Ocean County Library hosts the Cryers live in concert

New Jersey based rock band the Cryers are used to performing their own original songs and classic hits in concert. On March 30, the band takes on a whole new challenge—performing the Beatles album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band at the Ocean County Library Toms River branch (101 Washington Street).

The Cryers’ performance will pay tribute to the 45th anniversary of the Beatles’ album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The album features such popular songs including “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds”, “With A Little Help From My Friends” and the title track.

Unlike the original studio recording, the Cryers recreate the album without using sound effects, tape loops or other production tricks.

The Cryers have built a fan base from their concerts throughout the United States and Canada. They can even count legendary music producer Sid Bernstein, who first booked the Beatles’ first concert tour in America, as a fan.

Doors open for this concert at 6:30 pm. To register for this free concert, speak to an operator by calling 732-349-6200 or online to www.theoceancountylibrary.org
