Discuss organic food benefits at the library

Living on a budget does not mean you have to miss out on the benefits of organic foods.

Jennifer Klein, a registered dietitian with the ShopRite of Manchester, will discuss both organic and non-organic foods at four Ocean County Library branches and offer tips on how a person can fit organic foods into his or her budget.

Klein will also teach cooking techniques and offer samples from a recipe made with organic ingredients.

The program will be offered at 2 p.m. in the following branches:

Berkeley, 30 Station Road, Tuesday April 10

Manchester, 21 Colonial Drive, Thursday May 3

Jackson, 2 Jackson Drive, Thursday May 17

Stafford, 129 N. Main Street, Tuesday May 22.

Registration is required for these programs. Telephone the branch or visit the library’s Web site www.theoceancountylibrary.org or http://ow.ly/9Xx89 to register.
