Children Join The Jedi Academy At The Ocean County Library

For 35 years, George Lucas’s “Star Wars” series of films have captured the imagination of fans around the world.

Star Wars enthusiast and stage actor David Engel is sharing his love of Jedis, wookies and everything in-between at several “Jedi Academy” programs hosted by the Ocean County Library.

This program is filled with lots of audience interaction and participation, providing a fun experience for the whole family.

The following Ocean County Library branches are hosting the program:

Tuesday, July 17, 10:30 am at the Point Pleasant Boro Branch (834 Beaver Dam Road)

Wednesday, July 25, 6:30 pm at the Manchester Branch (21 Colonial Drive)

Thursday, July 26, 10:30 am at the Island Heights branch (121 Central Avenue)

Thursday, July 26, 2:00 pm at the Long Beach Island Branch (217 South Central Avenue, Surf City)

Thursday, July 26, 7:00 pm at the Berkeley Branch (30 Station Road, Bayville)

These programs are free and open to the public. Registration is required; it can be done online at http://www.theoceancountylibrary.org or by contacting the hosting branch by telephone.
