Manchester branch receives NJ Council for the Humanities grant for 2 programs

The Manchester Branch has received a $500 grant from the New Jersey Council for the Humanities to host two presidency-related programs in October.

Our theme that month will be “Our America: Our Government, Our Politics, and Our Heritage.”  The two grant-sponsored programs include “The Modern American Government: How Would the Founding Fathers Feel?” and “Politics and the Media: How Election Results are Influenced by the Press.”  Both programs will be hosted by Dr. David Lansing, a history professor at Ocean County College.

We’re looking forward to hosting these programs!
