Pirate School was in session

Bumbling pirate Billy Bones single-handedly captured the attention of dozens of kids and their parents yesterday at the Ocean County Library’s Jackson, Upper Shores (Lavalette) and Pt. Pleasant Beach branches with Pirate School. Classes were presented in sword safety (mandatory for all swashbucklers) and pirate history, mixed with a bunch of one-liners (Why do seagulls live at the ocean? If they lived at the bay they’d be baygulls. <groan> 🙂

50 kids attended the Jackson school and the school was as much fun for parents as it was for kids.  Great time was had by all.
