MANCHESTER BRANCH LIBRARY ANNOUNCES

“MIDDLE SCHOOL MORNINGS” PROGRAM

MANCHESTER– Starting on September 11 and continuing until they return to their own school, students in grades 6 through 8 who attend Manchester Middle School are invited to drop by the Manchester library branch on Tuesday and Thursday mornings between 9 and 11 a.m.

Students will be able to work on their homework, give and receive homework help, volunteer by assisting library staff with small tasks, make crafts, play games, do other supervised activities, or just hang out!

The Manchester branch of the Ocean County Library is located at 21 Colonial Drive in Manchester Township, close to the Manchester High School.

 

MANCHESTER BRANCH LIBRARY TO SHOW

“SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS”

MANCHESTER – The Manchester Branch Library will screen the film, “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows”  Wednesday, September 26, at 2 p.m. and again at 6 pm. See this popular action/adventure film on a large screen without paying the admission fee of a movie theater! 

Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and his longtime trusted associate, Doctor Watson (Jude Law), take on their arch-nemesis, Professor Moriarty, with the help of Holmes’ older brother Mycroft Holmes and a gypsy named Simza.

This PG13-rated movie is part of the library’s Feature Film Series.  Although registration is not required, early arrival is recommended.
