Ocean County Library Holds Holistic Health Fair

Are you one of the many people who have turned to holistic health care and alternative medicine? According to the World Health Organization, approximately between 65 to 80 percent of the population has turned to non-traditional health care.

To help find out about health treatments that are available to cure a wide area of ailments, Ocean County Library is hosting two holistic health fairs this October.

The holistic health fair will be held at the Point Pleasant Borough branch (834 Beaver Dam Road) on October 20 and the Barnegat branch (112 Burr Street) on October 27. The health fairs are on Saturdays, starting at 2 pm.

The branches will feature exhibitors on the following topics:

Point Pleasant Borough branch: yoga, massage, therapy dogs, holistic healing, massage, chiropractics, labor coaching, holistic cancer care

Barnegat branch: yoga, labor coaching, holistic healing, massage, nutrition, therapy dogs.

The holistic health fairs are free and open to the public. For more information, contact the hosting library branch.
