Two Stafford teen programs

Teen Book Club

MANAHAWKIN – The Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library has a book club for teens meeting Thursday Nov. 8th, from 5 – 6 pm.  Every month, we’ll read and discuss a teen novel.

Teens who love to read can enjoy the opportunity to talk about great teen novels, and for teens who struggle with reading assignments, this is a no-pressure environment to practice thinking critically about books.

The book for September is The Year of the Beasts by Cecil Castellucci.  Pick up a copy at the circulation desk.

This program is free and open to teens in grades 7-12.

The Stafford branch is located at 129 N. Main St. in Manahawkin.  Please register online at http://www.theoceancountylibrary.org or by phone at 609-597-3381.

Teen Gamers’ Zone

MANAHAWKIN – The Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library will host an open game night on Monday Nov. 5th, from 5-8 pm. We’ll have video games and board games set up – come check out what we have, or bring your own to share. Card games, roleplaying games, and miniature games are also welcome. No mature-rated games.

This program is free and open to teens in grades 7-12.
