MANCHESTER BRANCH LIBRARY TO SHOW

“DARK SHADOWS”

 MANCHESTER – The Manchester Branch Library will screen the film, “Dark Shadows” on Wednesday, January 2, at 2:00 p.m. and again at 6:00 pm. See this popular comedy/fantasy on a large screen without paying the admission fee of a movie theater!  

Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp) is turned into a vampire and buried alive in 1752 by a scorned lover (Eva Green) who is also a witch. He is inadvertently freed from his tomb and returns to his ancestral home in 1972, where his dysfunctional descendants (which include Michele Pfeiffer) are in need of his protection.

This PG13-rated movie is part of the library’s Feature Film Series. It is 113 minutes long. Although registration is not required, early arrival is recommended.

TWO KINDLE ORIENTATION SESSIONS   

MANCHESTER – At the Manchester Branch Library, learn how to use that new Kindle you got as a holiday gift on your choice of two dates- Thursday, January 3 at 10:00 am or Tuesday, January 29 at 11:00 am. The basics of using Kindle devices will be demonstrated in each 1.5 hour long class with emphasis on how to borrow books from the Ocean County Library. People considering the purchase of a Kindle would also benefit from attending
