Woodcrest Rocks!

Students from the Woodcrest Elementary School, Cherry Hill, collected and donated 3,000 books to the Ocean County Library for distribution to area children who lost their own books during Hurricane Sandy in October.

Six boxes were delivered by the library to the Salvation Army and three boxes to Children’s Home Services.

The project was organized by teachers Tara DiBattista and Suzanne Gulbins and conducted over five-weeks by the school’s First Marking Period Student Council.

During each marking period the school performs a project for the “larger” community.

Thank you so much for your generosity!
