Manchester Kicks Off Summer Reading

At the Ocean County Library Manchester branch on Friday, June 21 at 6:30 pm, after the library has closed for the day, the whole family is invited to “Dig Into Wildlife” to meet and learn about some real live wild creatures and sign up for this year’s underground-themed summer reading clubs. Please register in advance for this free after hours show.

Sign- up for the 2013 Summer Reading Clubs begins on Monday, June 17. In addition to lots of free activities throughout the summer, kids and teens can win prizes for reading books until Saturday, August 10. Members of the club for kids under 12 years old, titled, “Dig into Reading” will be able to spin the popular prize wheel or enter into drawings. Teens, ages 12 and up participating in “Beneath the Surface can read and review books to enter a drawing for prizes.
