MANCHESTER BRANCH LIBRARY TO SHOW

“STAND UP GUYS”

MANCHESTER – The Manchester Branch Library will screen the film, “Stand Up Guys” on Wednesday, July 3, at 12:00 noon, 3:00 p.m. and again at 6:00 pm. See this popular comedy on a large screen without paying the admission fee of a movie theater!  

A pair of aging stickup men (Al Pacino and Christopher Walken) try to get the old gang back together for one last hurrah before one of the guys takes his last assignment – to kill his comrade.

This R-rated movie is part of the library’s Feature Film Series. It is 95 minutes long. Although registration is not required, early arrival is recommended.

MANCHESTER – At the Manchester Branch Library, learn how to use your Kindle Fire to borrow books from the Ocean County Library on Friday, July 5 at 10:00 am.

MANCHESTER – On Monday, July 8 at 10:00 am, at the Manchester Branch Library, learn how to create beautiful gardens, even where space is limited! Dorothy Lawrence of the Master Gardeners of Rutgers Cooperative Extension, Ocean County office will show you how to beautify your home and patio with the simple technique of container gardening. LOCAL AUTHOR, LO ANNE MAYER

MANCHESTER – At the Manchester Branch Library on Monday, July 8 at 1:00 pm, Lo Anne Mayer will talk about her book, Celestial Conversations: Healing Relationships after Death. The book deals with journaling as a method of working through unresolved conflicts with someone who has passed away. Copies of the book will be available for participants to purchase and have signed by the author.
