Henna, Hair Chalking, & Glitter Tattoos

The Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library is holding a temporary body decoration program on Friday, July 26th at 1 pm.  Mehndi henna is an exotic, non-permanent body art that lasts as long as a few weeks.  Parental permission in the form of a signed waiver is required to participate.  Henna will stain fabrics.  Hair chalking creates a bright hair color that will wash right out.  Glitter tattoos use body-safe glue and glitter to create a shimmery design on the skin. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for a potentially messy craft.

This program is free and open to teens in grades 7-12.  The Stafford branch is located at 129 N. Main St. in Manahawkin.  Please register online at http://www.theoceancountylibrary.org or by phone at 609-597-3381.
