Manchester Branch Teen Book Discussion Club

The Manchester Branch Library’s Teen Book Discussion Club that focuses on literature and movies of interest to those of high school age, will meet on Friday, July 19 at 11:00 am.

The subject of discussion is a book by Cassandra Clare: City of Bones. A seemingly ordinary teenage girl, Clary Fray finds out truths about her past and bloodline while on a quest to get her mother back from a demon that attacked and stole her from their home in New York City. What she learns changes her entire life. A movie based on this title is scheduled for release in theatres in August!

This activity is open to young adults, ages 13 to 18, free of charge. However, space is very limited so it is necessary to register in advance by calling 732.657.7600 or by going online to http://www.theoceancountylibrary.org. It is being held as part of the library’s teen summer reading program, “Beneath the Surface.” Copies of the book will be available for pickup at the Manchester Branch starting on June 24.

The Manchester Branch of the Ocean County Library is located at 21 Colonial Drive in Manchester Township.
