Learn to cook with local produce

Jennifer Klein, a registered dietitian from Shop-Rite of Manchester, will lead two series of cooking demonstrations this summer at six Ocean County Library branches.

In her first series, “Fresh and Season Meals Made Easy,” Klein will show how to make a meal using local produce.  She will also discuss some of the best choices of the season and show you how to prepare a quick and fresh meal.  Samples will be served.

Manchester, (732) 657-7600, Fri. July 26 at 2 p.m.

Stafford, (609) 597-3381, Thur. Aug. 8 at 2 p.m.
