Horizon Presentation at OCL

TOMS RIVER – Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield’s “Blue to You” mobile information and healthcare van is coming to three Ocean County Library branches to present “Your Medications: An Overview.”

The program will explain the proper way to read a medication label and how to interpret its meaning. It will also discuss generic medications, formularies, and tiers that are often part of prescription plans. Safety tips regarding storage and disposal of medications will also be reviewed.

This program will take place at:

Jackson branch, Thursday Aug. 6 at 2 p.m., 2 Jackson Dr., (732) 928-4400

Point Pleasant Boro branch, Thursday Aug. 20 at 2:30 p.m., 834 Beaver Dam Rd., (732) 295-1555

Little Egg Harbor branch, Tuesday Oct. 8 at 10 a.m., 290 Mathistown Rd., (609) 294-1197
