MANCHESTER BRANCH LIBRARY TO SHOW “THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE”

MANCHESTER – The Manchester branch will screen the film, “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone” on Wednesday, August 14, at noon, 3 p.m. and again at 6 pm. See this popular comedy on a large screen without paying the admission fee of a movie theater!

Superstar magicians Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carell) and Anton Marvelton (Steve Buscemi) have ruled the Las Vegas Strip for years, raking in millions with their illusions.

Now they face cutthroat competition from street magician Steve Gray (Jim Carrey), whose cult following surges with each outrageous stunt he performs making Burt and Anton’s show start to look stale. But there’s still a chance Burt and Anton can save their act – and their friendship, offstage – if only Burt can get back in touch with what made him love magic in the first place.

This PG13-rated movie is part of the library’s Feature Film Series. It is 100 minutes long. Although registration is not required, early arrival is recommended.

The Manchester branch is located at 21 Colonial Drive. Telephone (732) 657-7600 for more information or go online to theoceancountylibrary.org.
