OCL presents “The 3 Bears” @ Seaside Park Elementary School

The Ocean County Library will present “The Three Bears” Thursday Aug. 15 at 4 p.m. at the Seaside Park Elementary School, 313 S. W. Central Av.

Jean Prall Rosolino will perform this one-woman show that is an all-new take on the classic story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children in the audience, ages 3 to 5, will play the role of “Baby Bear” during the show.

“It is a great way for the kids to still be involved with the library even while it (the Upper Shores branch, Lavallette) is still closed,” said Glynis Wray, system coordinator of Youth Services at the Ocean County Library. “It ties in perfectly to summer reading.”

This program is being held off-site while the construction at the Upper Shores branch in Lavallette is being completed. The branch is set to open Aug. 24.

This program is free and open to the public but registration is required. To register, visit the library’s website at www.theoceancountylibrary.org or telephone the library at (732) 349-6200 or (609) 971-0514.

This program is funded through a grant from the Puffin Foundation.
