Adult Fossil Dig At The Manchester Branch

On Thursday, August 22 at 6:30 pm, Pearl Observatory will simulate a fossil hunt in the Manchester Branch Library’s meeting room! After learning about and touching many different types of fossils, participants will be able to dig up and take home real shark teeth, sting ray crusher plates and many other artifacts- some 20 million years old!

Adults, please register online at or call 732.657.7600. This free event is being held in conjunction with this year’s adult summer reading theme, “Groundbreaking Reads.”

The Manchester Branch of the Ocean County Library is located at 21 Colonial Drive in Manchester Township.
