MANCHESTER BRANCH LIBRARY TO HOST YOGA TALK/DEMONSTRATION

MANCHESTER –  Learn about the countless ways that yoga can benefit anyone at the Manchester library branch Monday Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Yoga has been shown to be a great exercise that stimulates physical, social, emotional and sensory well-being.

In this introductory workshop, yoga instructor, Mary Flynn will discuss these benefits, explain what yoga is, and demonstrate gentle breathing exercises, postures and sequences. The session will conclude with a meditation for deep relaxation.

 

Flynn is a local resident and registered yoga instructor who operates her own studio “Peaceful Pathways Yoga” in Ocean County. She teaches people in all age groups and levels of ability and specializes in working with adults and children with special needs.
