Fosbre to discuss financing a college education

MANCHESTER – Learn where to find assistance paying for college and how to go about the process of acquiring and organizing your financial resources for this purpose Monday Nov. 18 at the Manchester branch.  The program will start at 6:30 p.m. 

James F. Fosbre, Jr., an Ocean County-based financial advisor with 30 years of experience, will discuss creative financing to spread out tuition payments, government sources of financial aid, hidden assets as an alternative for funding, strategies to avoid that will hurt your chances, and how to tip the odds of locating adequate college funding in your favor. He will also discuss financial aid sources that many people are unaware of and big changes that are coming to the financial aid game for the 2014-2015 school year.

Although geared toward parents, this free workshop is relevant to anyone facing the prospect of paying for a higher education, regardless of the student’s age.
