Manchester branch to show “Man of Steel” Nov. 20

MANCHESTER – The Manchester library branch will screen the film, “Man of Steel” Wednesday November 20, at noon, 3 p.m. and again at 6 pm. See this popular Action/Adventure/Fantasy on a large screen without paying the admission fee of a movie theater!  

A young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him (Superman) must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind. The cast includes Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Christopher Meloni and Russell Crowe.

This PG13-rated movie is part of the library’s Feature Film Series. It is 143 minutes long. Although registration is not required, early arrival is recommended.
