It’s a shrubbery: discussion @ Stafford


MANAHAWKIN –   The Master Gardeners of Ocean County will present  “Selecting and Caring for Shrubs” 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 14th at the Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library. 

Master Gardener Ellen Silverman will talk about many types of shrubs and provide expert information on their care. Shrubs make a definite statement in your landscape and can be a significant part of your landscape investment. Find out which ones are best suited for Ocean County.  The Master Gardener team will be available to answer questions before and after the talk. Bring in your dying or diseased cuttings for diagnosis. 

The Stafford branch is located at 129 N. Main St. in Manahawkin. This program is free and open to the public. Please register by telephoning the branch at (609) 597-3381, registering online at or in person. If you have any questions, call the library for specific information.
