OCL presents family program @ 6 branches 4/15 & 4/16

TOMS RIVER –  What do you do when you can’t go home?

Doug learns there might be a better place to live than where he is presently and he can’t pass up the chance to find it.  Only thing is, Doug has three problems: he is a dog; he lives in a pet store; and he must somehow get through the Jungle of Jersey to get there.

Six branches of the Ocean County Library will present “The Jungle of Jersey,” a family program by Piccirillo Sciencetelling  that utilizes everyday science in the telling of this animal tale and encouraging children to read.

Using smoke rings, disappearing water, flying eggs and “Jungle” sound effects, plus a little help from his friends, see if Doug can make it through the Jungle of Jersey all before Rush Hour.

The programs are free and open to the public but registration is required. Telephone the branch, or go to the library’s website www.theoceancountylibrary.org , click on the “Events & News” icon, then click on “Calendar of Events” and enter the title of the program to register.
