Master Gardeners presents “Alternatives to Invasive Plants” @ Stafford

The Rutgers Cooperative Extension, Master Gardeners of Ocean County will present “Alternatives to Invasive Plants” at the Stafford branch Monday, April 28th at 2:30 PM.

Master Gardener Rosemarie Martelli will talk about the many different plants you can use to replace unruly invasives in your landscape; all of these suggested alternative plants will thrive in our area. The Master Gardener team will answer any questions you may have before and after the talk. Bring in your dying or diseased clippings for plant diagnosis and possible remedies. Also, learn how you can become a Master Gardener.

The Stafford branch is located at 129 N. Main St. in Manahawkin. This program is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Rutgers Cooperative Extension, Master Gardeners of Ocean County.

Registration is required. Register by telephoning the branch at (609) 597-3381, online at www.theoceancountylibrary.org or in person. If you have any questions, call the library for specific information.
