Manchester police chief to open 6-part safety series

MANCHESTER  – Manchester Township Police Chief Brian J. Klimakowski will address the public on the topic of crime facing the community 6 p.m. Monday, June 2 at the Manchester library branch, 21 Colonial Dr.

Klimakowski will tell how one can be alert to crime and will demonstrate new technologies the police are using to keep our neighborhoods safe. There will be a question and answer period at the end of the session. In addition, a representative from the Department of Public Safety will be present to help residents enroll in the NIXLE emergency notification system.

This free presentation is open to all ages. It is the first of a six-part program series, “Staying Safe in Manchester Township” that will take place one Monday night every month through November. Individuals who attend all six sessions will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
