Dining out without the guilt

TOMS RIVER –  Three branches of the Ocean County Library will partner with Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield and present “Forks and Fears: Eat Healthfully and Enjoy It!”

One of society’s most popular pastimes has been the enjoyment of dining out. With the huge lists of food options and places to get your favorite meals, it can be pretty easy to lose your way when trying to eat healthy.

The presentation will show how, with a little preparation, one can still have fun with loved ones while dining out, and not be worried about your diet. It will discuss real-life dining scenarios and present easy methods you can use to stay on track to staying healthy.

The programs are free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register telephone the branch or visit the website at www.theoceancountylibrary.org and click on the “Event and News” icon for the link to the library’s Calendar of Events.

The program will be held at the following branches:

Manchester, 21 Colonial Dr., 10 a.m. Friday June 20, 732-657-7600
