Manchester branch to host Rock ‘n Roll history program

MANCHESTERAuthors Stan Goldstein and Jean Mickle will discuss their book, “Rock & Roll Tour of the Jersey Shore,” 7 p.m. Thursday June 19 at the Manchester Branch, 21 Colonial Dr.

Using photos and a slide show they will point out and discuss landmarks along the shore that have connections to well-known NJ musicians like Bruce Springsteen and others.

Copies of “Rock & Roll Tour of the Jersey Shore” will be available for purchase and signing by the authors.

This program is open to adults, free of charge. Register by calling 732-657-7600 or by going online to www.theoceancountylibrary.org.

Mickle and Goldstein will also present their program at the Waretown branch, 112 Main Street, 11 a.m. Saturday June 21. To register telephone 609-693-5133.
