Manchester branch seeks Idol contestants

MANCHESTER  The Manchester library branch, 21 Colonial Dr., will present a “Diversity Idol Talent Show” to celebrate Intergenerational Day and Diversity Month 1 p.m. Saturday October 11.

The branch is looking for contestants, ages 8 and up, that enjoy singing and want to share their talent with the community.

Songs chosen for one’s performance should represent any aspect of diversity, such as ethnicity, gender, or race. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the competition.

Refreshments will be provided during the judging period.

Interested in participating? Stop by the branch’s service desk before Sept. 26 to obtain complete information and to sign up.

No registration is required to attend the show as a spectator.
