Manchester police discuss kid’s online safety

MANCHESTER  – Representatives from the Manchester Township Police Department will discuss cybercrimes against minors 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6 starting at the Manchester library branch, 21 Colonial Dr.

They will discuss how to know if your child is at risk and what to do to keep them from falling victim to Internet predators and other criminals. There will be a question and answer period at the end of the session.

In addition, a representative from the Department of Public Safety will be present to help residents enroll in the NIXLE emergency notification system.

This presentation is open to all ages, free of charge. It is the fifth of a six-part program series “Staying Safe in Manchester Township.” People who attend all six sessions will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
