“How Connie Got Her Rack Back” Author Constance Bramer Hosts Book Talk At The Ocean County Library

How Connie Got Her Rack Back” author Constance Bramer is speaking at three Ocean County Library branches this October as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Bramer herself is a survivor of breast cancer. Her book chronicles her struggle and recovery from the disease, and how her sense of humor often helped her through the ordeal. Since recovering, she has become an advocate for breast cancer outreach and awareness. Proceeds from the sale of her book go to aid research. In addition to Bramer, representatives from Meridian Health Care will be sharing the latest information about the disease and treatment options.

The program will be at the following Ocean County Library branches:

  • Manchester branch (301 Chambers Bridge Road), Saturday, October 4, 10 am, 732-657-7600
  • Lacey branch (10 East Lacey Road, Forked River), Saturday October 4, 12:30 pm, 609-693-8566
  • Brick Branch (301 Chambers Bridge Road), Saturday October 4, 3 pm, 732-477-4513
