Stafford presents British Invasion Music of the 1960s

MANAHAWKIN –   The Carnaby Street Band will play British Invasion Music of the 1960s at the Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library on Saturday, April 25th at 2:00 PM.  Carnaby Street will take its listeners on a musical tour featuring not only music from British Bands, but American artists as well. Carnaby Street’s selection of songs are fondly remembered as one of popular music’s favorite eras. They will play the music of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, the Moody Blues, the Who, the Dave Clark Five, the Bee Gees, the Hollies, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, the Monkees, and the Byrds. Join us for a concert that features the excellent vocals of lead singer Chris Roselle, and one that promises to bring back memories.

The Stafford branch is located at 129 N. Main St. in Manahawkin. This program is free, open to the public, and co-sponsored by the Friends of the Stafford Library.
