Manchester to teach class about Vine video media site

MANCHESTER–  The Manchester library branch, 21 Colonial Drive, will offer a guided tour of the online short form video networking service Vine 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12.

The free service lets users record and edit up to six-second-long looping video clips and “re-vine,” or share others’ posts with followers.

Participants will learn how to search for videos pertaining to a wide variety of interests and watch them right on your cell phone, tablet or other Internet capable device. They will also be shown how to create their own Vine account.

This adult workshop is part of the library’s ongoing series on social media websites. The class is free but registration is required. Register by calling 732-657-7600 or by going online to http://www.theoceancountylibrary.org.
