Angeltones to perform a concert in Stafford

MANAHAWKIN –   Join us for a walk down Memory Lane as The Angeltones sing 50’s pop music at the Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30th.

The Angeltones is one of the most sought-after female vocal groups in the tri-state area. The group has a distinctive style and has perfected the harmonies of pop songs that we know and love from the 1950’s.

Some of the songs they will perform were originally recorded by the Ronettes, the Marvelettes, the Chiffons, Doris Troy, the Shirelles, the Shangri-Las, the Crystals, and Little Eva.

The Stafford branch is located at 129 N. Main St. in Manahawkin. This program is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Stafford Library, is free, and open to the public, but registration is required.

Register in person, by calling the branch at (609) 597-3381, or online at  If you have any questions, call the branch for specific information.
